Here’s the one thing no one is pointing out concerning the Trump vs the Disabled controversy:

This is not about the reporter. This is a bigger issue. Even if Trump didn’t mock the disabled reporter….the imitation he defaults to when mocking people is a “Spaz” imitation. That old saying is based on certain disabilities and is often used to say someone is incompetent, stupid, embarrassing, etc because of their disability…

SO even if not directed at a disabled person it is still just as offensive to use it bc it is still mocking disabled people and equating them with those negative stereotypes.

Pick a negative stereotype that represents you and the most offensive way to say it. Now pretend Trump said/did that [if he hasn’t already] and see if you think it’s acceptable and isn’t perpetuating negative stereotypes.
